California has some of the most picturesque landscapes which are also wildly diverse. Travelers of all types can enjoy the sunny beaches of San Diego, the stark beauty of the desert around Joshua Tree, the snowy alpines of Bear Valley and Lake Tahoe, and the modern tourist cities of LA and San Francisco. In my opinion, some of the most gorgeous landscapes get overlooked. With the Bay Area and Southern California getting plenty of attention, it is very easy to pass over the Central Coast. I am talking about places like Carmel-by-the-Sea, Monterey, and Santa Cruz. Don't take my word for it, the pictures should speak for themselves.
My wife and I were raised in and near the Central Coast. We live in a town that is centrally located roughly 45 minutes away from these amazing sights. We wanted to figure out a way that we could share the Central Coast's beauty with other like minded-travelers. Then it dawned on us- Why don't we set up a BnB in our area and host guests so that they could experience all that the Central Coast has to offer?
So we did just that.
On November 6th, 2021, our first BnB went live. We have already hosted our first guests and have five other groups that will be staying with us in the next few months. It has been such an exciting new adventure and project for us. We hope that we can add a little more appreciation amongst the traveler community for our beloved coastline.
If you or anyone you know ever wants to plan a getaway to the Central Coast of California, consider staying with us. We would love to host you and give you sightseeing and food tips. We hope to see you at the Traveler's Stay.
